Of course it was preseason so not regular season games....take that into consideration.
It was very nice to be around my own asshole people and not Denver douchebags.
First off TD Garden is beautiful......The T runs right under TD Garden with its North Station. Its easy to walk to.
Its a bit smaller than ball arena and it feels a lot less cramped.
The food was great....like it should be at a game....in Denver we have disgusting Aramark that controls all the concessions.........
In Boston.....there is SALs Pizza.......I had that the first game and slice was massive. In true nasty pizza fashion grease was running down my arm and getting on my Patrice jersey! While it was excellent......the morning reminded me to stay away from pepperoni.
The big winner was LUCKYS CHICKEN.
The concessions and the bathrooms were plentiful and allowed you to get out to the restroom and get something with time to spare before the next period.
The seats were nice and comfortable but I do get bitchy and sit on the end.
Seeing and hearing Todd Angilly live was something else. That brother can sing.
Now....its very expensive.......beers are $20 for a 24oz can or a less than cup
Sunday was definitely more of a crowd than Tuesday.
They had a great museum on site that was still under construction...we managed to make our way up to the club level and walk around to see it. Got to see Jaffe and Razor with their NESN intermission.
I am a sucker for 50/50 tickets so we'll see where that goes!
Overall TD Garden was one of the best arenas I have been to...probably on par with the Bell Center but way better than Ball Arena or the dumpy ass Saddledome.
Great Trip to Boston....a very expensive city but lots to do and see with great transportation options....just don't rent a car....ever.
