17 seasons, 1145 games, 822 points, exactly 500 PIM. That's a pretty good career.

I remain a huge fan of the player, I'm decidedly less enthusiastic about the man, but whatever. Avs probably could've built a winner around him but stayed salary-floor cheap for pretty much all of his prime years. Wildly underrated player--not flashy but capable in all three zones, could dig pucks out and scrum in front of the net as good as anyone. A shame he didn't get his Cup, but a great career nonetheless.
