Is every team going to have an issue now? Don't get me wrong- I'd like to see all the assholes ousted. But it seems like we're going to just keep hearing about more and more teams/front offices involved in covering shit up or acting like scumbags.

If he were merely being an asshole (and I'm positive there are PLENTY of those in pro sports) then I don't think they'd have placed him on administrative leave following the initial findings of the investigation. There's more there, just how much more is anyone's guess.

Just astounds me how he was an abusive asshole no one liked AND he was objectively shitty at his job. Like, if he were good, it still would be wrong to justify his behavior but at least I'd understand that a little. But for him to be IMO the absolute worst GM in the league and still be given carte blanche to abuse everyone from staff to players, it just blows my mind how you can fail upwards at certain echelons of society.

Murray entering an alcohol abuse rehab, paid for by the Ducks owners.

He also resigned. Still can't believe he was allowed to be so grossly incompetent AND treat everyone around him like garbage for so many years.

Jeff Marek apparently said that this started via the anonymous tipline.
Thanks Chuck, E.L. and Harmy!

Good. Something came out of this whole Blackhawks mess that'll hopefully change things for the better.

Melissa Geshwind rightfully pointed out that the Ducks are paying for Murray's alcohol rehab, but the Hawks are refusing to pay for counseling for John Doe #2, even though the kid was traumatized as a direct result of their malfeasance.
