Bob Hartley leads Avangard Omsk to the Gagarin Cup against CSKA. Notable players on the roster are captain Alexei Yemelin and former first overall pick Nail Yakupov. It's a very veteran-laden lineup, about the only guy I think could possibly be headed to the NHL next year is Blues prospect Klim Kostin.
Anyway, congrats coach. He's garnered a lot of hardware over the years, and though my feelings on the guy are not as high as they used to be, can't deny that he's a truly great coach. Championships in the AHL, NLA (Suisse), NHL, and now KHL.

Jokerit Helsinki quit the KHL in protest of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

I noticed the KHL English Twitter feed has banned all replies because they were getting absolutely gobsmacked online with every one of their posts.
Re: KHL championship
I have no idea how many players this would/could impact but Sweden announced that any Swedish born player playing in the KHL will no longer be eligible to play for a Swedish national team due to the situation in Ukraine.
