Making his NHL debut tonight. This should be interesting.

36 saves for Fowler. Beat Pens 4-2.

Craziest stat: Dryden, Roy, Price, Fowler all played their first career starts against Pittsburgh. And they all won.

Habs have a chance to be tied for the division lead at Christmas.

Ages of their top 7 scorers: 26, 24, 21, 19, 21, 25, 22.

And that’s not counting Bolduc and Newhook who are 9 and 10.

Danault coming in will help a lot, especially with Evans hurt.

No wonder NHLers look so young to me. 9 & 10 year olds in the show!

Slaf-Kap-Ivan are a blast to watch together. Unfortunately, Bolduc is dragging down Suzuki and Caufield. Dach could take that spot but of course he’s not recovering well from his foot injury. Maybe Texier can be a temporary fix.

Even if Bolduc sucks that’s still highway robbery by Hughes—Mailloux is objectively the worst defenseman in the NHL this year.

Happy with the deal, just that Bolduc’s game is very raw right now. He’s got a cannon and could score 20 on the PP in his sleep, but he’s lousy along the boards and forgets to forecheck. But he’s young. So is Mailloux, to be fair.

Mailloux shouldn't be in the NHL, but he needs to be because the Blues are screwed.

Meanwhile, another crazy comeback win for the Habs. Down 2-0 to the champs with under five minutes to play. Suzuki ties it and wins it in OT with Marchand in the box for elbowing Matheson. Funny that tomorrow Marchand will be named an Olympian and Suzuki might not.

Noah Dobson and Lane Hutson are a cheat code together. Honestly. It's nuts. They're wizards with the puck.

Well, rejoice! Captain Nick made it, but yeah so did Marchand.

Habs put 7 on the board against Carolina, who lost their best goalie for the season.

Nick, Cole, Lane all PPG. Demidov not far behind. Slaf dominant.

Crazy stat: in Carey Price’s career, he played with one 80-point player, Kovalev in his rookie year.

Habs on pace to have three guys do it this season, with Demidov and Slafkovsky also coming up fast.

Texier had the best night of his career. Three points vs. The Flames. Finally elevated his game playing with Suzuki and Caufield.

Danault went 13-15 in the dot. The perfect fit at 3C for what Montreal needed. Not sure he’d be worth it anywhere else.

Hughes has really built a team where players fit well together.

Dach is back in a boot so his foot isn’t healing. Guhle will be back this week and I’m not sure where he’ll play with Matheson-Dobson and Hutson-Carrier working. Maybe Guhle with Dobson and Matheson roving?

Texier followed up the best night of his life with an even better one: a hat trick. Six points in his last two games. Plus a Team France announcement. Dude’s living.

Habs beat Panthers 6-2. One point out of the Eastern Conference lead. Four points back of Dallas for second in the league.

Habs are losing ground in the division. Starting to get pushed around a bit by slightly older/bigger rivals. Also, need Fowler to eventually snag the goalie job.

TemTemBeau is a terrible goaltender.

That’s a big part of the slippage.

They have the worst goalies in the league.

Goalie coach takes the fall for Montembeault’s struggles. Raymond was a Bergy holdover so surprised he lasted this long.

Dobes might be the no. 1 now. He’s unconventional but has a 17-5 record. Ride him while he’s the hot hand and pray Monty can get it back after the break with a new coach.

If not, Fowler might be back up by the deadline.

Maybe its just me, but I've never been a fan of Monty, even when we got him off waivers from Florida. To me he's an average goalie at best, who had an amazing season last year and somehow made team Canada.

To me he's always someone I thought would be an amazing back up but average as a starter.

Maybe I am missing something about him?
