Let's be honest--he wasn't anything special on the ice, but the fact that he was there at all is historic no matter how you cut it. I hope whatever demons claimed his brother and nearly claimed him will stay well away as he hangs 'em up.

700 plus games is definitely noteworthy. Hope he does well with whatever comes next.

Dude didn't play organized hockey until he was 13 years old I think. Made it a long way and as you say hopefully he can keep the demons away and be an important figure for Inuk and other native youth.
