GAMEDAY THREAD: Pavelec Thrust

Post by Pokecheque »

Seriously Dater? Of all the pics to post of Duchene, you use THAT!?

Anyway, Mueller to the IR (not concussion-related) and Duchene back in.

Duchene - Stastny - Hejduk
Olver - O'Reilly - Landeskog

Not sure where Jones goes now.

Lo and behold, if we can actually get our GD forwards all healthy at the same time, we might actually have a surplus!

Watched my first full Jets game on Friday night in HD. Those Jets Home Uni's are sharp.

May the best mullet win!

Uneventful 1st, followed by a far too eventful 2nd. Jets score twice in 1:45 to open the period, Sacco quickly calls a timeout and excoriates his charges. This is the sign of a team that might be a tad too young...they tend to get a little too happy with themselves after a win.

Wow...that sucked.

Anyway, I'm going to say that the Avs just blew whatever paper-thin chances they had of making the playoffs. Horrible, horrible performance all around. Mathematically, they're still alive, but this team is just completely unable to string wins together, and frankly they're just not as good as a good majority of the teams also in the hunt for that last spot.

Oh well...now the task at hand is to see if you can trade back into the first round.
