Desert hockey entering bold new territory. The 2016 NHL Draft will prominently feature a born and raised Phoenix area talent near the top of the draft who grew up a Yotes fan, Auston Matthews. BTW, he became a Yotes fan when Bobby Francis was their coach (fav players were Briere and Doan), in case you didn't feel too old already.
I don't know why ASU doesn't add women's hockey as well, but I guess they're being weird with their resources here.

I'm amazed they're spending for a hockey team at all. Football is huge there. I went there for a year. Can't get away from football team news, info, pics, etc.
