Amazing how quickly these games go by. 2 hours and the whole game is over. From the buzzer to end a period & the faceoff to start the next is 12 minutes! And they have a bigger ice surface to clean. 3 Zambonis used? Or are they wider?

But the play seems to go uninterrupted for longer times. Does the wider surface help avoid offsides? I haven't seen many of them at all.

Some strange rules though. If your helmet comes off you have to get to the bench.

US ousted 3-2 by Finland,who they'd beaten 5-0 earlier in the week. Isles property, and exile, Jesse Joensuu had 2 goals for Finland, including the winner with 9 seconds to go.
