I really had forgotten about what I liked about baseball..............the history, all those stats and comparables.

Well Trey Yesavage's comparables are few, and elite........we're talking Cliff Lee, Randy Johnson, Tom Seaver, Bob Gibson all to the best of my knowledge first ballot hall of famer's, not your middling yeah you won a Cy Young, and we'll let you in on your 7th chance kind of players but the elite of the elite.

Well worth the read

I have to say, great pitchers can make for a kind of boring baseball game but great pitchers who can make great hitters whiff so bad they look like me with a bat................that is some fun to watch.

Bottom of the 9th. Runners are on 2nd and 3rd and no outs. Really, really, thought the Jays were going to get at least one.

Clement, perfect the guy has like 26 hits in the post season, just been hot. Nope first pitch pop up.
Jimenz, not the best hitter but man he's had some timely hitting, and 11 rbis in the post season. Nope he hits short fly to centre, thinking it might drop in but no its caught. Worst Barger who runs the bases so well, is to far off 2nd and gets tagged out to end the inning.
Springer was up next.............just uggh so much potential for the heroic 9th inning comeback turns to poof in a minute and half.

Still it was a good game. Dodger a bit fortunate, very few hits but they were clutched together in one inning and got their 3 runs. On the other hand the Jays only had one hit with runners on base. This is their game, the best in the majors at hitting when men are on base.

Oh well, going to be another great game tomorrow. 3 time Cy Young winner, future hall of famer, old balls, way past his prime Max Scherzer gets his chance to add to a great legacy (and a guy I'd never heard of until a month ago...lol). I like the Jays chances, he will give up a couple runs but keep it under control and the Jays bullpen is superb. Feel good about this

If the CF runs and grabs the ball that got stuck under the fence without thinking, the Jays are the champs right now. Smart play.

Ugh. Absolutely worst ending possible.

Glad I’m a Rockies fan and therefore hate baseball.

Ohtani+Yamamoto were better than the Jays, the Jays were better than the rest of the Dodgers who were basically just passengers along for the ride carried by their Japanese stars.

Okay all bitterness aside for the moment. Another fantastic game. This series was incredibly entertaining. Sad about the loss, but damn it was a fun ride.

Classic Series. Felt bad for the Jays....As a Bs fan I've seen that look out of the Toronto crowd before!

Man, what an amazing season, postseason and a world series class that had literally everything. These Jays were a team in the most true sense of the word. Hurts bad to see them get so close and lose, but what a performance.
Thanks Chuck, E.L. and Harmy!

Game 7 was the most watched MLB game in 34 years, thanks to Canada and Japan.

Offseason about to begin. Giants have money to spend, and I’d like to see them finally land Sonny Gray in a trade. Very Gianty kind of player. Love KBO fire baller Cody Ponce too.

Hitter-wise, they need athleticism. Trade for Brendan Donovan while you get Gray, and give up on some of the failed prospects to help the bullpen.

I love the WBC. It’s not a serious tournament but it’s easy to get very into it.

Expect all the US players to be deported by Saturday for losing to them.
