They're saying Logan Couture has a broken ankle, so if they weren't done before...

With Brenden Dillon gone, it appears former Avalanche draft pick Nicolas Meloche may finally get a legit shot at securing a spot in the NHL. He got called up by the team today.

Sharks like dipping in the Euro UFA market, and they've done it again, adding Malmo C Fred Handemark, who's big and can score a bit, and Russian G Alexei Melnichuk.

The video edit of Thornton bearded, his daughter folds her arms and blinks like a genie, and he's beardless, is awesome.

Logan Couture claims he was punched in Toronto for publicly expressed his love and admiration for the president, even though, as he observed, and can't and doesn't vote.

He declined invitations from media to go into further detail, probably because he is a lying crybaby.

He always looked to me like he was an idiot, never liked him. I'm glad I have confirmation of my original summation of the man's character.

I hope the Avs absolutely annihilate that squad for years to come.

I still remember when he was projected to go #1 in the OHL draft, then Tavares was declared eligible. He(or his family/reps) threw a fit, said they were going to take their puck and go to the NCAA. He falls to the 67s pick, they take him, and he goes and plays for Brian Kilrea.

A year after being the centerpiece of a Charlie Coyle deal, Minny dumps Ryan Donato to the Sharks for a pick.

Sharks also get Dubnyk from the Wild. Jones insurance.

Not official yet, but it looks like the Sharks might be rocking these sweet Golden Seals blue and yellows as a third jersey next season: https://twitter.com/Berger_BYTES/status ... 4094134278

Yes please!

The more I think about it, the more I think giving Labanc a 4.75M AAV, surely a gift after last year's paycut, is a massive overpay.

Wow this team bites, and not in the good Sharky way. Karlsson's groin problems have sapped him of his ability to do anything. Time to work for tomorrow, but with so many contracts in place I don't see how.

San Jose blew a 4-2 lead and lose 5-4 (OT) to the Avs at home, officially eliminated from the playoffs.

Martin Jones was...not good.

Boughner has no more fucks to give about the goaltending, on why #SJSharks lost: "3 bad goals. Didn't get a save. You guys watched the game, it's pretty obvious."

That HAS to be Jones's last game in a teal jersey. No doubt he's getting bought out this summer. Sink or swim (no pun intended), Korenar is likely their guy going forward.

As for the rest of the Sharks, no idea. They'll likely try and offload a contract or two to Seattle, and try a rebuild-on-the-fly like what Los Angeles is doing.

Sharks bring back Jonathan Dahlen after a year in Swedish B-league, where he put up an MVP season. We'll see if he can finally crack a lineup.

Adin Hill brought aboard to maybe help their goalie problems.

Surely they're buying out Jones at this point. After what happened in that Avs game and Boughner publicly called him out I thought that was that.

Somewhat surprised they just up and gave up on Korenar. I thought he'd be their goalie of the future or something. Hill is decent, certainly a fantastic #3 goalie, but he doesn't seem like much more than a decent backup option.

Why haven't they bought Jones out?! Maybe the most irredeemable contract in hockey.

Sharks finally do something good for the tomorrow team, bringing Rudolfs Balcers and Joachim Blichfeld back in the fold. Good, low cost depth guys who might surprise on offence.

Jones was indeed bought out, and now Adin Hill got locked up for two years.

They also added Bonino and Cogliano as forward depth.

If Karlsson and Vlasic can turn back the clock, maybe they're not doomed after all.
