Congrats to Tampa. That's a hell of a team.

Yeah.....there was something missing in this hockey.....perhaps the players weren't overly motivated and their dislike of the sustained bubble showed.

This is probably the first and the last time you will hear Gary Bettman present the trophy and NOT get boo'd.

What a Maroon's agent is on point.

The shooting flames and sparks were a nice touch during the cup presentation. Flair!

Not the same without the home crowds from a viewer perspective, and I think we're all a little numb to feelings right now with all that's happened, but I still enjoyed the few games I watched and thought the boys played as hard as they could given the circumstances. I thought it was going to be a shitshow and I was pleasantly surprised.

The NHL really pulled it off well.

Congrats to Tampa. Happy to see Stamkos get a ring. Guy's been through some crazy injury and health shit.

Oh I certainly enjoyed it...especially the beginning where games were on all day long....but then it petered out around the Conference finals and beyond. Something about a Tampa/Dallas final didn't quite make me quiver with excitement. Even in the media the players and coaches had had enough of the bubble (not just Tukka). The NHL did what it had to do at the time and so did most of the players so good on them. The good news is we are 10 weeks away from another season and 6 weeks from camp with no bubble this time. Plenty of offseason movement to occur in that timeframe and of course we have Lafraniere doing his thing with the Rangers in about 2 weeks so we shouldn't lack for things to talk about.

Camp is just 6 weeks away? Holy crap. I hadn't realized it was so soon! That's awesome!

Don't quote me on that. I am listening to the wife again who claimed to have seen some Avalanche countdown timer that she now can't find.

I did do some light digging but looks like we may be looking at a season start time after the New Year. Nothing official.
