Didn't see one, so here it is.

Nick Robertson ain't messin' around. And he's still only 18 years old.

Apparently he also takes pictures of the food he eats and sends it to his nutritionist to make certain he's eating right.

Yesterday I saw him pick Muzzin's pocket for a scoring chance in camp. I think he's gonna be one hell of a player.

He made the jump in his draft plus one from second round pick to guy that should have gone in the first round which is all you could hope for really.

Hopefully he keeps on the path and can be an impact NHL player in a couple of seasons.

That's a great quote from a kid.

His play in the exhibition last night was good. His speed and interest in puck pursuit should keep him around longer I would think unless his spot is needed for PK and draw reasons.

A second round pick that is still 18 being in the NHL has to be rare these days.

With him and Kap playing opposite each other on the wing things where happening fast for the defenders liked that combo.

Patrice Bergeron, anyone else?

Oh crap, you're right. I was thinking of Stastny because he was a second-round pick, I had the right team but the wrong guy.

Yeah, I had forgotten about Stastny. That's an interesting case. He started in the AHL, but IIRC got called up in a hurry because Steve Konowalchuk was forced into retirement due to a heart condition. He might've been called up later or not at all if Kono had been able to play.

On paper, anyway, Robertson reminds me a bit of Gallagher: small, feisty, good hands

That seems right. would be awesome if he could get to that level.

On Robertson will say a couple times he seemed a little reckless and was not protecting himself, but until he gets smucked a few times can not say for sure if he was unaware or looked unaware.

Robertson has a really deadly shot too, doesn't he? Does Gallagher have a great shot?

Hope it's not disrespectful talking about this but can we talk about how absolutely cursed Leafs prospects are? Nick Robertson can't stay healthy for the life of him, and poor Rodion Amirov just fought off brain cancer.

Like, come on, I know hating the Leafs is some peoples' favorite pastime but cut the kids a damned break.

I think everyone has their always injured prospects just when the Leafs are involved you hear about it all the time. Robertson needs to make it happen now though.
