What an utter pile of chicken feed the bottom the teams wild card race out west is turning out to be.

The Mild are a disaster but hold down that final wild card slot with 60 points. So five teams are separated by one point and the four teams tied with 59 points and not even the Oil and Ducks are out of it.

80 odd points should do it at this rate.....unprecedented

The Bolts, or any other team coming out of the East, will never have an easier time getting the Cup than this year.

Maybe the Sharks can try to win one for Jumbo - but that goaltending....

Sharks might get Ryan Miller for the stretch drive...

A lot of mediocrity on those middling teams - all with major flaws.

Arizona continues to surge winning their 6th consecutive game and Minny/ Colorado stay middling, even though Minny has won 5 straight. Shows how bad they were prior.

Wouldn't it be something if the Yotes managed to squeak in and then knocked off the Flames with some impossible goaltending and piss poor netminding by the Flames' tandem. Does anyone honestly believe that Smith can support this team to go anywhere in the playoffs?

Avs are the best team of the low lot but seem to get rattled with ease.

No, I wouldn't be surprised with a first round upset this year....because of the goaltending. I would assume they fix it in the offseason, gives Brad another year of employment. What a non-made for TV series that would be....Flames/Coyotes......I wish the AVs would get their shit together but I agree they are easily rattled. Even the urgency of picking up doable points didn't seem to motivate them this weekend.
