Right......its the fancy NHL where work place violence is prohibited!

Next time skate your ass away from that dangerous man and/or pay attention to the DOMI in front of you!

I am sure the POST 80's crowd will be parading around denouncing Domi and his barbaric and antiquated hockey demeanor!

The apple NEVER falls far from the tree.

Now that's a sucker punch!

You mean where Ekblad has absolutely no interest in dropping the gloves and Domi himself isn't willing to drop them, and instead of squaring off and dropping them he drops one and sucker punches him? Yeah, that's a sucker punch.

Pushing and shoving and a few little jabs with gloves doesn't allow a guy to drop a glove and hit him in the jaw. If he wants to punch, drop the fucking gloves or find a willing participant.

Ekblad's got nothing to gain by engaging the little shit in a pre-season fight and risking any injury.

Yeah, upon second glance, this was pure fuckery on Tie's little boy's part. I didn't understand why Ekblad turned away at first, but now I see he was trying to signal the refs and get the hell outta there.

Ekblad's got a history of concussions, too.

Domi lost his cool. He'll probably get the rest of the preseason which is actually a reward.

Well, you do have Andrew Shaw, but I don't know how much he hurts people.

Andrei Kostitsyn used to love hitting people but had no idea how to do it and just ended up running people from behind. Similar to Scott Hartnell, no fucking idea how to hit people without doing something illegal or dangerous.

Absolutely no problem with Tie's Samuelsson punch, though. Very few guys had it coming more.

The Niedermayer one though, was an all-time idiot move.

Domi suspended the rest of the preseason. Galchenyuk on the other hand out indefinitely with an LBI.

He sees the ice so well.

I really like his game. So much more than that Russian American dude.

He's playing like he did when he first arrived in Glendale: speed and vision. Hope it lasts.

In two games of him he's shown more hockey sense than chuckie did in all his years in Montreal

Domi sets a career high in goals and points with 20 games remaining in the season: 20 goals, 53 points. The guy runs hot and cold sometimes, but even when he's not scoring he's skating and generally doing good things on the ice.

Really solid acquisition. Can't be mad at Bergy for this one.

It's pretty amazing how well this move worked out. Is Bergy good, or lucky?

I think both guys in the deal needed a fresh start. Domi has embraced the challenge of playing in Montreal, while Galchenyuk has shown flashes of what he can do in a low-pressure environment but hasn't had much health luck this season.

There was a chance both GMs were going to look good, but in the end Alex needs to be healthy.
