RIP Chuck Mosley, O.G. singer for Faith No More. He cared a lot.

Good fucking riddance to Charles Fucking Manson. The worst humanity has to offer. (And jokingly, one of the worst people associated with the Beach Boys.)

RIP Malcolm Young. I assume AC/DC is no more. :(

You'd think so, but his nephew Stevie subbed for him on the Rock or Bust Tour. Maybe they're done making new music, but they could tour as Axl-Angus-Stevie-Rudd/Slade-whoever's replacing Cliff

Malcolm dropped out after being diagnosed with dementia a few years back, so AC/DC was going without him for a while there. I've heard nothing on how the new Axl-fronted thing is working out.

Let's face it, AC/DC will probably keep going until Angus hangs up the schoolboy uniform.

David Cassidy outlives Charles Manson by one day. That's good at least.

Cranberries singer Dolores O'Riordan died unexpectedly at 46.

That's a bummer. She was young and the Cranberries were freaking great. (And still put on a good show, supposedly.)

Whoa...Dolores!? That's terrible. The Cranberries were a definitive band of my teenage/young adult years.

Some question as to whether Rolling Stone was throwing dirt before he actually passed but either way he has taken the next step.

Tom Petty died of an apparent self-overdose of opioids. He apparently was in severe pain from a broken hip although it is not explained why he had not been admitted to hospital.

They found traces of painkillers (morphine) and amphetamines in Roy Halladay's system. Two more celebrities fall to our ever-growing opioid crisis.

Anyone here every read a "Brief History of Time"? I know a few people who have tried, all pretty bright but they didn't make it through. My brain kept futzing out at trying to get understand 4th dimensions.

Rusty Staub dies, one of my earliest sports heroes and the only reason to cheer the Expos in their early years.

The man learned French to communicate with the fans, incredible humanitarian and great baseball player.

It'd be funny if people were honestly shocked that he was a conservative. Of course he was.
