Malcolm Subban.....interesting......I thought he looked good in the preseason...guess not! Hathaway sounds like the casualty with the Jagr singing...guess that means Tanner Glass gets an offer. Couldn't understand why Gazdic was there in the first place.....even I couldn't handle him running around looking to run into people and fight......

Subban is probably the most interesting name on there. Avs could use another body in net given how fragile the current tandem is and the horrendous depth behind them.

Big goalie Jared Coreau cleared waivers in Detroit today.

Does Matt Read have anything left?

I could see Snow signing Subban as a 3rd goalie on the roster.

M. Subban claimed by Vegas.

Bernier & Gionta clear waivers and go to Bridgeport. Apparently Gomez behind the bench fills the Isles quota for old ex-Devils.

Avs claim Patrik Nemeth from Dallas. I had a feeling they were wanting someone with at least a little more experience given how green their blueline looks this year. Also, Nemeth and Gabriel Landeskog played youth league together back in Sweden. I bet that factored in a little.

Sask will be pleased to know Joe Colborne and his trust fund are on waivers.

Colborne cleared. We'll see what Colorado does now. They didn't NEED to waive him in order to have 23 skaters, so I'm wondering what the deal is there.

On waivers today: Calvin Pickard and Martin Marincin. Guess that fan contest for his helmet design was for nothing.

I thought Marincin was supposed to be good.

Sad day when Jason Garrison is waived to make room for Erik Haula and Luca frakking Sbisa is playing top pair on the 7-1 Golden Snitches.

Niemi claimed by MTL. Price is day-to-day with ??? and Montoya is out indefinitely with a concussion. Lindgren has been fine as the starter, so Niemi will just back him up until Price is ready.

Good heavens...Niemi's gonna be on all 31 teams at this point. And he'll suck for all of them.

Kyle Quincey on waivers after a pretty awful performance against Henny(dricks) and the Jets, capped off by an immensely stupid scrum following a goal with Nikolaj Ehlers. Pretty sure his NHL days are done.

Cody Franson clears waivers. He only makes $1million. Isles could have used him. He'd be an improvement over most of their D. Maybe he's an asshole, or has health issues?

Nope, he's just slow I guess, still can't believe he had to settle for a PTO this year in the first place. One of the bottom-feeders surely could've used him.

None of them seem to think so.

And I think that's a big reason why an expansion team is running away with it this year.

MTL gets Logan Shaw from ANA. I know nothing about this player. Supposed penalty killer.
