The Knights got a Duke? Hopefully they make a run at Dwight King too.

Ben Bishop should be on his way! (Okay, that's more of a chess reference than royalty, but bishops probably hung with the aristocracy, right?)

I went to the Kings v. Canucks last Saturday at Staples and Bish started, although he looked far from Knightly. He was light up for 4 straight goals against a very mediocre Canuck squad. He looked more like a pawn than a Bishop.

Not sure what ever happened to his game. He used to be the shit.

Was he ever really, though? This is, what, his fourth organization and he's just barely 30?

I'm beginning to think that right now we're in an era of goalies in the NHL similar to what's going on in the NFL with quarterbacks. There's like 1, maybe 2 that are elite, followed by a handful of pretty good ones, and the rest are shit.

Bishop might be a victim of new equipment. His fall makes Dubnyk's consistency all the more mystifying.
