In the last 30 days Sarose has picked up 84 points, RNG has 70 points. Edge to you Scott. As I mentioned though with 4 goalies I had 1 too many. Too many nights I'd have 3 or 4 playing and could only put 2 goalies in the line up.

So I think this was one of those rare win/win trades. Thanks for the deal Scott.

I also made that assessment......

Suzuki 119.80
Binnington 108

Kaprizov 125.30
Cozens 80.1

Edge to Scott there as well.

Interesting, since I had to explain myself pretty thoroughly to some folks who thought I could be pulling a fast one.
I thought the trade was fair and appropriate then and I still do.

For the 2nd year in a row...I probably possess the biggest draft bust. Last year it was Huberdeau...this year Thompson. Seriously, this guy has been so bad the past month he's almost not worth a start.

The only guy worse has been Batherson...the moment all those allegations started to fly....he tanked.

Yeah what's with Thompson? Last year looked like a breakout year. Something we've typically since in the past with power forwards where it takes a bit of time for them to put their game together. After they figure it out they stay on top. However now he's looking like it was just a fluke year?

And no one is going to feel sorry for poor Harmy and his measly 11-6 record. :P

Absolutely, and have done a lot better since the trades, but again lost a heart breaker last week to Butch by 5 points.

If we had done the trades sooner, could be a lot different for me in the standings, as I have lost at least 4-5 weeks, but 5 points or less.

You're done..........I'll be close behind you. My last 4 weeks are all against one of the top team teams. I'll probably need 3 out of 4 to make the playoffs. And of course my team crapped out last night, giving up my projected lead and putting me in the hole.

Man, for the fourth time this season I lose the week on Sunday and was winning all week. My season could be a lot different with just a few small breaks this year.

First off gents I want to thank you all for being highly competitive this year.

I apologize for not writing weekly summaries every week but it became ridiculous when Yahoo changed the ability to post topics or comment on the league. Every week I would need to change the commisioners note that was limited by characters and it just started to take too long. Perhaps Yahoo wants to drive us to a paid version of the league but I don't know for certain.

We have 3 weeks left and that is it.

The trade deadline in the league is 2/28....yes tomorrow....if you are interested.

8 teams will make the playoffs and so far the only one eliminated is Sam. Kai and Scott are on the bubble this week.

Tommy! Great time to get a gimmee against Sam. Put that pressure on Kyle and Erik!

Tommy looks to sneak in the back door this week at the expense of Erik and the Laines!

Last week folks. Playoffs start next week.

Way to play to the end Scott! A 5pt victory causes my old man to stumble ever so briefly. On the last day no less. I'll take a regular season victory.......now on to the playoffs!

Good Job Tommy! You stayed hard and showed Erik the door.

Don't forget folks we have consolation rounds too. So its not completely over if you didn't get into the dance.

Appreciate everyone playing this year. I hope Yahoo makes some adjustments for next year. I do like writing weekly stuff or every other week at least but they make it pretty impossible right now.

Another season where I kinda liked my team, but I missed a couple of crucial lineup updates and I never recovered.

It seemed like a really competitive year. I lost 4-5 games by 15 points or less, which could have put me easily into the playoffs. (I'm looking at you Harmy!)

Anyway, it was a fun season.

What I liked this year is that the overall points pretty closely mirrors our teams standings. No big aberrations like last year, where Glitz seemed to do just enough to eek out wins every week, even though his overall points should have placed him a bunch of spots lower.

Upsets are a brewing! The top Season 3 look to be making early exits!

I've got a 90 point lead and a 75 point projected win. But I've blown larger leads twice this year, so I'm no longer confident about big projections.

And I think you and Puck are close enough to still pull it out but we'll see after Saturday. I anticipate some last day drops and adds from a few players trying to squeeze out a few more points on Sunday's game.
