Gentermen -
Often times, an NHL team will not place an injured player on the IR for financial reason - only at which time it makes sense economically & for roster movement purposes; will a given team place a player on the IR. Yahoo adheres to the same guidelines & won't make a player IR eligible until the team actually does. Really, this is the only way to do, otherwise, the yahoo admins would be left guessing what/who/when a player is going to suit up & play.

Crosby is a fine example -
He could be on the shelf for the rest of the season, though he's not on the IR right now on yahoo simply because the Pens haven't done so.

Had my injuries, but seems I have just burnt out on pooling and have been horrible at keeping my lineup up to date.

I've missed a few days too. Now I try to do a couple weeks in advance. Only issue is if you make a drop/add you have to re-do everything so the advance work was wasted time, but really you can do 2 weeks of lineup in <10 mins.

FINALLY getting some warm bodies back from IR. Fat lot of good it'll do me though. I was way too cute with my picks--went for gritty guys who score a little and put up a lot of PIMs.
