Peer pressure worked another buddy will join the league when he gets home from work today.

Av just go to your pre-ranks and remove a those top one hundred ranked players that are not going to be around for a while. (Streit)

Some last-minute bullshit came up, I might not be here for the start of the draft but I'll take my chances with pre-draft rankings.

Butch I sent you the money just now, if you haven't received it let me know.

I'll probably be auto-draft for some of the first few rounds as well. Pre-draft rankings should be fine, but it kind of messes with goalie strategy.

Well ..... alway a last minute request to join.

I advised we're set already with 10 teams, unless anybody else here wants to join? If so -- need to let me know ASAP!

Some good teams out there, I think I went too early on a bunch of guys. Gonna be tough to hold onto the title! I was on auto-draft for the first 6 rounds, came out very center-heavy but OK.

Crazy how long the goalies lasted as opposed to drafts of year's past. Did ANYONE end up taking Vokoun? I suppose it's a reflection on how marginalized goaltenders have become in the cap era. Nevertheless, I got burned with two pretty mediocre goalies last season and so took mine early this time around.

My team feels like it's a little more balanced. Last year I went for firepower which left me with weak goaltending and a really old-ass D. I didn't go very far in the postseason as a result. I'm hoping my team scores just enough and wins in the other categories (PIMs, goaltending) to win on a regular basis.

I was pretty surprised as well with the number of goalies avail. I had anticipated being able to grab Rask once again this season, though he was quickly picked up (as was Jimmy Howard before him). Still think I got some decent (albeit, higher risk again) netminders with the late picks.

Niemi has had a less than stellar camp with the Sharks, but he is a Cup winner afterall though, so I think the guy deserves a shot. While Lehtonen has been stellar with the Stars; just hoping he's not on the IR by November.

One thing we know for sure. Seminators has some work cut out for him on ye olde waiver wire. :awesome:

Remember kids, fill out your pre-draft rankings in advance for FORCHRISTSAKE at the very least exclude injured players!

I totally would have joined again if I hadn't had both car issues on Monday and been sick. Really shitty day for me in general. Nothing good came of it.

wow , nice value on Havlat , Tanguay and Ribeiro.. in the 20s! I know the point system is different but regardless goals and points related stats is still the backbone of any pool (it should be at least).

Interesting feature this "compare my team to available players" is.

Dammit...wanted to add Letestu but simply can't justify dropping one of my centers. Obviously it's early but at this rate, no way do they risk him on waivers once Staal returns.

BTW, not that anyone will, but I'm always willing to listen to trade offers. One hitch--I will, under no circumstances, take players from the Avalanche. Way too superstitious for that. Of course, I would assume the only players from Colorado actually on any other teams are Stastny, Duchene, Anderson, and Stewart.
