Max will make 18M the first two seasons. Lockout-proof contract.

He and Stastny will man their new and vastly improved second line.

The owners sure are fucking themselves royally with these lockout-proof deals.

Well the one surefire way to avoid invoking that protection is to not have a lockout! :eng101: :jerkbag: :durr:

Max is picking up where he left off last season, and not in a good way: 1 goal in 8 games. His centre is out for a long time and there's not enough depth to pick up the slack.

Patches could be a healthy scratch tonight vs. Devils.

To make room for Stastny's return.

NHL coaches are just...weird. First they say he's a healthy scratch, now they're saying he's got a minor injury.

The whole point of bringing Stastny and Patches aboard was to give them a reliable scoring tandem beyond that awesome top line. And while he had a horrid start, #67 has been putting up points of late. I just don't get it.

That's what I thought, his start was bad, but has had 16pts in his last 20 games.

If the Knights should be concerned about anything it's the fact their once-unflappable goalie corps has flapped this season.

As you mentioned Av, they are now saying minor injury.

Again, just stupid.

Max Pacioretty given away to Carolina for nothing because the Knights are in cap hell. Brutal.

Love it. That touted top line of Max/Jack/Mark had, like, two shifts together.
