This is crazy--we're likely looking at a Final with two teams who have never won it. When's the last time that happened?

I was thinking when Washington won it and I couldn't remember who they played. 2018 against Vegas and that was the last time that neither franchise had won it.

Do we count Anaheim and Ottawa in 2007? Probably.

Dallas and Buffalo in 99.

Pitts and Minny in 91.

Wow...I'd like to see who picked this bracket. If you told me the Panthers were going to sweep the Canes and that Tckachuk was going to have 3 GWG in this series I would have asked you to pass the bong!

Dallas looks defeated so hopefully we see this Vegas/Florida matchup.

Old Balls Pavelski keeps the Stars from getting swept in OT. :viking:

Bennett is such a dirty fucking player. Good obviously, but dirty AF. I was so glad when Calgary traded him.

Didn't realize what a miserable piece of work Jamie Benn was until now, too. Looking forward to a FL/LV final now and hope the Panthros throttle Vegas...

Yup, Benn's been a dirty bastard for a really long time.

Good for Dallas to crawl back in this. The Celtics pushed to game 7 down 3-0 in their series to the Heat, so maybe it'll happen in the NHL too.

Vegas wins a real nail biter to close out the series, 6-0. 3-0 after the first period.

Vegas - Florida SCF. Someone is winning for the first time. Yay?

Dallas played far, far better without their captain.

I am still trying to figure out who is excited with this matchup.......the 5 fans in Florida or the 20 in Vegas. Of course I am sure there are more now that we are at the finals. :bandwagon:

A dismal game from Dallas against the Knights to close it out. The building was empty after 2...I suppose if that's the way Dallas wants to play it....go back, save a drive and get some sleep. Just seems like an awful lot of money to fork out just to bail midway. Should have just stayed at home.

I could care less but I will still watch. There is a dude that comes around who is super stoked with Florida so I will try to feed off of his excitement.

This town has moved on to the Nuggets anyway.

I'm actually feeling pretty good for both teams. You have to appreciate what Vegas has done since entering the league and although the Panthers had a disappointing end to last season overall I've respected the organization and how they have been building the last 5 years. Either one of them being rewarded for smart management will be fine with me. Although I prefer the Pathers, coming from the #8 seed is impressive.

Stars fans booing after the first period was pretty pathetic. I know its 3-0 but still there were two periods to play.

I don't hate this final. Tkachuk is the story of the playoffs, and Eichel winning a Cup before McDavid would be delicious.

Ya know I'm no fan of the Knights but I don't hate it either. I'm good with either of these teams winning it.

Why did they wait a week to start the finals? I've already lost interest...

Most likely to meet ESPN's scheduling demands.

Game 2 was really close. 7-2.

I missed it but heard Gudas got flattened. That makes me happy.
