Crosby vs. Karlsson

Should be a fast series.

These Sens are for real. The depleted Pens might be fading.

The Sens really lit up Pittsburgh this evening, 5 - 1. I'm not counting Pittsburgh out but that was a proper ass kicking.

Pens demolish the Sens. Karlsson hurt.

After the game five shellacking, it's hard to believe Ottawa were able to pick themselves up and push the series to 7.

In two games, Anderson demonstrated how bad and how good he can be.

Malkin was flying in game six and the Pens still lost. This one could go either way.

Agreed on the Sens impressing by picking themselves up after Game 5.
But I think the Pens' overall experience helps them pull out Game 7. Sens showed some grit, but I don't think they'll win. Hope I'm wrong though.

Oh, Andy...such a Jekyll-and-Hyde type of goalie.

Good guy though, much as I despise Eugene Melnyk and don't really care for the Sens apart from Erik Karlsson, I can at least root for him.

So after Sens got shelled in game 6 but won, I checked some numbers. In shot attempts at 5-5, Karlsson in more ice time gave up less attempts than Phaneuf, Ceci and Methot. He also had way more attempts for ending at -1 in attempts on the night when the team was -22 total.

What makes a guy good or bad in his own zone?

So bummed for the Sens. Poor Anderson never saw that shot in 2OT.
