Great games so far as it heads to Toronto with the series tied at a game a piece.

Two overtime games with 4th lines getting the winner in both. Caps going to find another gear? or maybe the Leafs are too young to know they should be cannon fodder? Guess we will see...either way as a Leaf fan this is all icing so no big deal.

Kapanen with the big goal. Clearly he received great tutelage while with the farm club. Get those employees a big bonus!

Babcock has this team fully buying in to his narrative - huge underdogs, less talented, younger inexperienced roster - all the pressure on the Caps. A loss is a confidence builder and playing tight hockey is fun. Good series so far.

Easily the most enjoyable hockey during the 1st round (I also like watching Zack Kassian own the Sharks).

Very similar to how he handled Anaheim in 2003.

Marner, man...that guy is just so good and smart. On the winner, sets up the zone entry by hitting the guy at the blue line with a pass, jumps into the zone with speed on the dumpin, pressures the D and then from his knees pins the D's stick so another Leaf can pick up the puck. Leading to the winner.

I hate to say it, but Matthews-Marner will win the Leafs a Cup. Probably not this year, but soon.

What an explosive, dynamic, dominant pair.

Game four should be telling. Either the Caps break out and end the mirage or it looks like the Leafs really are in it.

Well Caps have home ice in the best of three. They got back control but still left room for doubt as it wasn't pretty.

Ah well, that was fun. 5 of 6 go to OT and the other game was one goal.

The Leafs were enough of a challenge that i think they woke up the Caps.

This was a really great series to watch from a neutral's point of view. Sorry about the loss, Craig but I think the Leafs have a really bright future ahead of them. This series will either wake the Caps up or expose their weakness' especially now that they are about to face their nemesis.

The experience was good for Leafs young players and I think another added value is that Free Agents will be an easier sell now.

I agree completely with the last statements by RW & Hounsy. I'm just too lazy to quote them.

Great series for the Leafs. Very close and about as great of a season as anyone could have hoped for this year. At the start of the year I think I told a few people that I wouldn't be surprised to make the playoffs and the Wings miss.
