Geez the Habs are running around a lot and looking a little tight in game 1. Lucky goal by Glass on that first goal.

I'm listening on the radio. Peppered the Rangers in the first but couldn't cash in on the PP. Sounding very flat in the second.

The Rags are under siege. Delay of game penalty - PP for Habs coming up. Huge opportunity here.

31 save shutout for Hank.

Habs did not generate much. Maybe putting Galchenyuk on the 4th line wasn't a good idea?

From what I saw of this game on the 2nd screen the Rangers were doing a very good job smothering the Habs and beating them to the puck. Habs are going to have to pick it up if they want this series.

Picking it up is not their strong suit.

Habs have definitely run Galchenyuk out of town.

A knee injury derailed his season, but now everyone (i.e. team, media, fans) thinks he's lazy and can't play without the puck. Now he's a 4th line winger and Andrew Freakin Shaw is on the 1st PP unit.

What a joke. Habs deserve to lose every game in this series 2-0.

Habs eke out an OT win in game two. Radulov and Pacioretty woke up from their game one slumber.

Galchenyuk back up the middle for game three.

Wow, Habs manhandle the Rags in Manhattan. Up 2-1 in the series after being 14 seconds away from going down 0-2.

Lehkonen and Radulov are awesome. Radulov scored one of the nicest goals of the season, a one-hander.

Habs played their best game in years last night, and it's mostly thanks to finding 3 scoring lines with chemistry.

Bergevin has given excuse after excuse for years for not going after a top-2 centre, but is it possible he's found a poor man's version of one in Phil Danault? I thought the Rags' bigger, more skilled centres were going to run circles around the Habs, but Pleks has taken care of Stepan, while Danault has held his own against Mika and Hayes.

Danault is only 24, ok sized at 6', 200, put up 40 points this year and has good speed that allows him to create offensive. He's not elite, but he doesn't hold his more talented linemates back (Max and Rads).

Radulov's sick goal:

Also check Radulov's sick no-look pass to Galchenyuk on the Weber goal:

Rumors abound that the Habs and Avs are talking some sort of swap centered around Galchenyuk and Duchene. Maligned talent for maligned talent. Avs fans of course want the Habs to throw in a certain Russkie defensive prospect for good measure.

I've heard that too. I've also heard Duchene for Hanifin too, which is more intriguing.

Anyways, no way the Rangers were going to put up two stinkers in a row. It's all tied up.

I'd straight up prefer Galchenyuk over Duchene, but that is just me.

Talent-wise, I agree. But Bergevin likes his cap wiggle room and with 2 years left at 6M per, Matty D comes at a reasonable cost.

Galchenyuk is an RFA and I don't think they're totally committed to locking him up 5-6 years. Not really sure what AAV he'll be getting; was on his way to 6M before his knee injury.

The Habs need to re-sign Radulov and have Price for only one more year, so I think anyone who makes money is in play (Galchenyuk, Plekanec, Petry, Emelin).

Yeah, Habs fans are clearly not feeling confident. Flipping out about the loss and Max's lack of offence.

I think people deluded themselves into thinking they were favourites in this series. They're even.

Shaw out, Beaulieu scratched for Game 6. Not a lot depth for the big elimination game.
