5 for 8.

Nashville; Anaheim; Rags and I really don't have clue who to choose out of Pens and Sens so I'll go with sentiment as I'd like to see Ovie have greater success so I'll pick the Caps

I went 4/8 on teams alone. Had game #s way off. Had the Hawks sweeping the Preds.

Next round.

Rangers in 6 (hope I'm wrong!)
Pens in 7

Preds in 6.
Ducks in 5. Although I hope I'm wrong on that one.

6 for 8. Let down by the Habs and B's go figure.

2nd Round

EAST

Pittsburgh Penguins (2) vs. Washington Capitals (1) Pens in 7. Capital's can't get it done blow several chances. Syd punts Ovie's balls with an exclamation mark on his career.
New York Rangers (WC1) vs. Ottawa Senators (2) Rangers in 6 This is not the same 1 line scoring team as the Bruins. Rangers have depth....

WEST

Nashville Predators (WC2) vs. St.Louis Blues (3) Preds in 7This is going to be a great series to watch. Skilled teams with depth will make this interesting and competitive.

Edmonton Oilers (2) vs. Anaheim Ducks (1) Ducks in 5 Sorry folks the Ducks are for real this year. Edmonton will win 1 but the Ducks are too big, too strong and too experienced. Not even Conor McDavid can help them this year.

I got 6/8 in the first round. Here goes for the second round.

EASTERN CONFERENCE

Washington Capitals (1) vs. Pittsburgh Penguins (2) Pittsburgh
Ottawa Senators (2) vs. New York Rangers (WC1) NY Rangers

WESTERN CONFERENCE

St.Louis Blues (3) vs. Nashville Predators (WC2) Nashville
Anaheim Ducks (1) vs. Edmonton Oilers (2) Anaheim

BTW, I am really enjoying the playoffs this year. The series have been really competitive and the play, for the most part, top notch. I am really looking forward to the start of the second round.

Well, I didn't make them for the first round and I missed the start of the 2nd round.

Go Nashville, though I really like Tarasenko a lot.

Oil and Anaheim. On one hand I still kind of want the Oilers to fail badly with Connor McDavid(the only reason I wouldn't is because my brother's an Oilers fan), but on the other hand it's Anaheim with Perry and Kesler. And I don't want to see Randy fucking Carlyle move further than Bruce Boudreau.

Go Washington. I want to see Ovechkin win a Cup sooner than later.

I like Lundqvist but I don't care at all about the Rangers. Anderson's a pretty amazing story this year and Karlsson probably won't be able to shake his rep with hockey traditionalists until he wins a Cup. On one hand, Eugene Melnyk. On the other, Dolans. Go Sens.

Next round.

Rangers in 6 (hope I'm wrong!)- right # of games, wrong team, although I am glad!
Pens in 7- Nailed it. Whoop whoop

Preds in 6. Nailed it. Whoop whoop
Ducks in 5. Although I hope I'm wrong on that one.
Right team, way too short. Sorry Oilers.

Round 3 predictions
Sens-Pens. Pens in 6. I have a bad feeling it will be less games, but hold out hope the Sens can ride their wave to at least 2 wins.
Ducks- Predators. Predators in 6.

Hey, I actually got the winners and no. of games right in the West. East not so much.

Sens in 6 (Go Karlsson!)
Preds in 7 (Go PK!)

Wow, what a brutal final market-wise.

3 of 4....missed the Sens too.

Sens seem to know when to play tight and when to open up and then close it again.

I am a f'n miniature buddha (well not so miniature nowadays). We can throw dirt on any comparison there might have been at one point.

Anyway....

Pens in 7....this is Syd's swan song. The Sens surprise run ends here.

Ducks in 6......This team has battled adversity throughout the postseason. I thought Edmonton had them there for a moment. Nashville has had a pretty easy go of things.
I'd rather see the Preds but somehow the Ducks will get it done.

Losing looks so good on Lucic and the Oilers...but it would have on Perry and Kesler too.

I don't like the whole fucking Ribeiro thing with the Preds. Go Preds, nonetheless.

I think the Pens take the Sens. Karlsson and Anderson though, wow.

Saw a graphic. Karlsson has 3 game-winning assists, 2 game-winning goals and was on the ice for the other 3 game winners.

I kept my .750 correct pick percentage going in Round 2 where I was 3 of 4. Here are my 3rd Round picks,

EASTERN CONFERENCE

Ottawa Senators (2) vs. Pittsburgh Penguins (2) Pittsburgh

WESTERN CONFERENCE

Anaheim Ducks (1) vs. Nashville Predators (WC2) Nashville
