What on earth was Mike Sullivan thinking last night starting Fleury in game 5 after such a long layoff? Not to mention Fleury's goaltending tenure in the playoff games which speaks or itself.

That single decision could cost the Pens the series.

Fleury screwing up when it matters most? I'm SHOCKED. This has never happened before. Of course it's not ALL on him. I agree...putting him in after a long layoff was a mistake. I guess Sullivan is kinda showing why he hasn't been a HC since Boston.

I'm still so befuddled as to why the Pens still insist that MAF is an elite franchise goalie despite a mountain of evidence to the contrary. They just refuse to believe that "other" guy they took with a 1st overall pick just ain't quite all that.

Just wish he had done this earlier against the Caps.

I wanted to comment on the same thing but I certainly wasn't going to start a thread for it.

I would hope that Fleury is NOT starting tonight unless they are all ready to play golf.

I suppose Tampa's success makes Stamkos expendable. That's a fine team right there.

Yup, I'd rather throw money at RFA-to-be Kucherov than Stammer.

Remember when Fleury was a young Cup winning goalie? And not a proven playoff choke artist?

We're going seven. Two points for Crosby. Matt Murray stopped 27-29.

I'd say Bolts, but it wouldn't shock me if Crosby had a big game.

Malkin looked good in the first. 0-0 after 20.

Rust with two and Drouin with an unreal wrister. 2-1 after 40. Stammer nearly tied it up. Awesome hockey.

Wow. Shots are 29-10 in favour of the Pens after two periods. Cooper should use Stammer more - he's got jump and only has 6 minutes TOI.

Crosby has looked dangerous all night, not to mention Malkin.

Great game. Bring on the 3rd!

What a great game. Penguins prevail.

Penguins versus Sharks in the SCF. Speed & Skill versus Size & Skill.

Pretty good game 7 - thought for sure they were going to tie it up in the final seconds though.

Malkin was unreal tonight: 2 assists, 63% FO, a beast with the puck. He held on to the puck for 20 seconds on the powerplay so Crosby could replace his broken stick. No one touched him!

Crosby, Malkin and Letang are rarely all healthy at the same time, but when they are, the Pens are really good.

Hm, Stamkos played tonight.

3rd conference Finals in the past 6 years for the Bolts.

There is something about Coop that just rubs me the wrong way.

Glib?
