Yep, I did the 2nd chance bracket. Unfortunately I couldn't bring myself to bet against the Avs this time, but by betting on them I have most assuredly jinxed them for eternity.

Don't think we should read too much into series predictors being an indication of hockey intelligence. If it were a signifier, we're all bonkers

I mean took at Tampa? There is so much parody in the league right now, so much system based hockey, so little room on the ice, much of It becomes a pinball game out there in terms of scorIng opps. A lucky bounce here, bad break there and that's the game -- especially come playoff time. Skill in the league is at an all time high. But does luck play a bigger factor in the NHL now than ever before because of it?
