Given that this is the Whalercanes playing against a team wearing blue/green with a whale logo, I kind of feel this thread should be in the Hartford forum.

2-0 Canucks end of the first.
The Demitra Kesler Sundin line looks good as does the Bernier Wellwood Burrows line.I hope they stick with these lines.Bxa with PP goal looking good so far. Great to see them show up for the 1st period for a change.

Holy, since I've started streaming, the Canucks have held the puck like 90% of the time and had all the scoring chances but one.

They actually look... shit, what's that word? "Guld"? "Goad"? "Grood"?

W-W-- Wynn? Whin? Something like that?

The end result was just -- the Canucks were the better team -- but if I'm a Canes fan I'm pretty pissed at both goalie interference penalties. The first one (which took away a goal) was arguable, but it still looked like the Canucks' D-man basically caused the impact. The second one was entirely on Bieksa, and I have no idea how they called LaRose for that (neither did he). I'm glad that the winning goal was shorthanded rather than on the power play, because that would have been a cheezy way to win.

Either way, they needed it. Lack of finish (at least compared to Carolina) was frustrating, but like I say, just result.

umm yay I think,I almost hoped they would blow this one as well just so Gillis would fire AVs sorry ass,I did like the Kesler Demitra,Sundin line though which of course means they are one mediocre shift from being split up  .

My problem is that even though they won this game they still had those awful habits in their own zone and they basically had no forecheck to speak of,Also on the PK they never try to pressure the other team in to turning over the puck,They just sit back and wait for Bobbie Lou to make the save or allow the goal. They showed a stat on their last 7 games or so and it showed that we have allowed goals on 56% of the PP chances against during that period  You'd think that they might try a high pressure system against the PP or something fucking different than what they are doing BUT NO!!! Not on AVs watch,They have to fire this fucker,The rest of the league has both him and the Nucks figured out,I just can't see this team doing anything until they do it :fffffuck: :fffffuck:
