Canadian tennis has been turning out a lot of talent the last 10 years but Bianca appears to be the best of the bunch. Has won 31 of 35 matches this year; Indian Wells, Rogers cup and defeated all 10 top ten players she has faced. The old time tennis observers love her game, really complete with perhaps the best forehand in women's tennis. And a 110 mph serve comes in handy. Only worry is that at 19 she has already had rotator cuff and back problems, she may be a bright star who burns out fast.

Having said that, at this point she appears to be the favorite to win the US Open. Most of the favorites are gone, only 2 players ranked in the top 10 are left and they're on the other side of the draw. She's fun to watch anyways.

I am not much of a tennis expert but women's tennis is really chock full of amazing talent right now. Bianca, Coco Gauff, Naomi Osaka, and of course, Serena is approaching 40 and still the best in the world. All class acts to boot.

I'm kinda bummed Genie Bouchard for whatever reason didn't quite reach her potential but if her social media is any indication she's just out there living her best life.

Bianca has an unmatched competitive streak. She's intimidating out on the court.

On a total side note, my favorite men's tennis player might be Daniil Medvedev for being the complete opposite of a class act and trolling the fans booing him after every win.

Bianca Andreescu carries herself like more of an alpha than any WTA player I’ve seen come on the scene in quite some time. #USOpen

Andreescu looks like she feels entitled to win every match, every game, every point.

Which makes perfect sense for someone who hasn’t lost a full match since February, really.

Even in her matches during Indian Wells she was doing the Alpha thing while hampered with injury. Never saw her play before that so do not know if it is ingrained from start or a switch went off at some point.

Hope she can deal with the fame and money as really that seems likely the only thing between her and being consistently one of the best for a while.

Watched set one and had to walk the dog, checked in on set two at a friends place and watched her get broken and go down 5-2 and figured no way she comes back and I'd have time to walk home and catch the 3rd set. Wow what a comeback I missed. Just seems the lass is the exact opposite of Eugenie Bouchard, the harder it gets, the more she digs in and finds a way and will to win.

Not sure she can knock off the GOAT on Saturday but I am sure she'll be a handful for Serena.

She actually is a Drama Queen and I like it. When facing breaks on her serve she actually stretches out the shot clock to the max and stews in the moment where many players will have a tendency to rush. Suspect she is just running through tactics in her mind, but this also leaves the opponent stewing in the moment longer.

Real happy she made the finals, also do not like her chances Saturday but she has established more than enough with her run and I don't mind watching greats add to their achievements like Williams would if she wins.

There it is. Serena fought like hell to get back in it but still fell in straight sets.

Well that was my favorite sports moment so far this year, really enjoyed her run. Now for the natural grand slam run! :D
