Djokovic defeats Federer in a marathon 2019 men's final: 7-5, 1-6, 7-6, 4-6, 13-12 (7-3) -- with the initiation of the first ever 5th set tiebreak that kicked in at 12-12. Was still the longest Wimbledon match in history.

Federer had two match points in the fifth set on serve, but mentally faltered in the big moment and lost his opportunity to close Joker out. He actually won 14 more points than Novak but still lost the match.

Federer has now been in 30 career grand slam finals with a record of 20-10, whereas Joker is 16-9. Rafa holding strong at 18-8. Wonder who winds up with the most grand slam titles by the end of the Big 3 era.

Halep made quick work of Serena 6-2, 6-2 in a less enticing women's final. Serena was vying for her record tying 24th grand slam title. She is 23-9 in GS finals.

Bummer for Feds and Serena, but good for Djoker and Halep.

I want to see Roger get at least one more grand slam before it's over.

Greatest race in the history of sports. Honestly can't tell you who will end up with the most. Nadal might have a few more French Opens in him. Novak is back in top form. Roger just keeps hanging on.

Nothing will ever match their dominance ever again. What a damn treat every time.
