With Raonic ailing and Bouchard struggling to deal with fame, Vasek Pospisil carried the torch for Canadian tennis at Wimbledon this week.

Made it all the way to the quarter-finals before losing to hometown hero Andy Murray.

Vasek's made some major strides. It's just a matter of staying healthy. And maybe not playing so much doubles.

He received time violation warnings at some inopportune times during the match which he complained about afterwards.

Fans were really riding chair umpire about it. Nice to see intelligent fanbase doing the right thing.

Man, imagine if they had ever clamped down on Nadal's time violations?

 Probably would have cost him a couple of majors at least.

Roger schools 'local hero' Murray in straight sets with voracious first serve in one semi. His off the charts 85% first serve percentage for the tournament was too much for Andy.

Djokovic barely breaks a sweat against Frenchman Richard Gasguet, setting up a heavyweight 1,2 seed Wimbledon finale.

If Roger can maintain his insane first serve he has a fighting chance. But Djoker will have to have an off night as well.

Prediction: Djoker in 4.

Rogers Cup going on right now. Last night in Montreal, a frustrated Nick Kyrgios told Stan Wawrinka "Thanasi Kokkinakis 'banged your girlfriend.'" The on-court mics picked it up. Stan eventually retired, and Nick got fined this morning. Pretty funny.

Arash Madani called him on it too. That's awesome.
