I will be up early tomorrow to try and score ace tickets for the first weekend of this year's tournament as I attend my second tennis slam after three days at the Aussie in '13. I guess I'm attending the slams in order of when they happen on the calendar? Wimbledon next, then New York?

You in France, then? With or without underpants?

Seriously though, is Milos playing, or is he still out from foot surgery? Genie still flaming out?

Off-topic of course, but man, didn't know Genie's entire frickin' family was hot.

Raonic expects to be ready for Roland-Garros after two weeks out (and missing Rome), not a major surgery by any means. He just made 4th in the World Rankings... not sure if this ranking is the one they use for the draw or next week's after Rome... if it is this week's, Milos gets his own quarter in the draw. Of course, with Rafa at 7th, it's more about if the draw puts Rafa in your quarter or not.

Genie hasn't gotten her game together but clay is a good surface for her. If her head isn't there, though, won't matter.

Heading to Barcelona and then up to Paris very soon.

Raonic will not be ready for the French Open after all. Bummer.

Attended a conference where Andre Agassi was one of the keynotes. Surprisingly eloquent, thoughtful guy. The rare athlete who made mostly smart business investments.

Except for the All-Star Cafe.

Watched 3 matches, one women's singles (Svitolina def Beck in 3 sets on Court 6), then two doubles matches on Court 3, the first being men's doubles involving Canadian doubles legend Daniel Nestor and India's Levander Paes beating a German-Austrian duo in straight sets, then I saw former singles champion Martina Hingis (though she never won the French) and Sania Mirza win in straight sets against a French duo in women's doubles. Admittedly, I still have a thing for Hingis half my life later.

I thought Hingis retired after a positive test for Coke?

NM, two year ban.

Roger Federer advances to French Open quarters for 11th time, taking down flying frenchman Monfils.

Feds next plays his Davis Cup Swiss teammate, Stan Wawrinka. Federer holds a 16-2 edge in their all-time meetings.

Usual suspects, Djokovic, Nadal, Murray, Ferrer, Nishikori, & Tsonga still alive, looking to be an elite final 8.
