Westmount's own (Eu)Genie Bouchard is in the quarter finals!

Ana Ivanovic got her serve together and upset Serena Williams!

Rafa and Nole are still too damn good!

Quarters are a very big deal for her at this point, she looks to have a very bright future, better than Pospisil and Milos but if not I'm sure she can do okay supplementing her income with modeling and product endorsements.

Damn, Montreal really needed that one. Eugenie's going to win a Major eventually.

The Aussie's going on again, and Saskatoon ITF champion Thanasi Kokkinakis won his first round match in likely the highlight of the opening round. (Click on his profile there and Saskatoon is listed as 'Cannada F5' there. Talk about being an under the radar tournament). It was a five setter (8-6 in the 5th) in prime time over Ernest Gulbis, the 13 seed. I highly recommend attending a local futures tennis tournament if you get the chance, a couple years back the tournament here was won by Vasek Pospisil.

Switzerland recently underwent a massive fiscal policy change that now has the Swiss Franc trading way higher against other currencies, so there's less money available for Federer and Wawrinka to win. I guess that means more motivation to win it all.
