This is NCAA news, not NFL, but it involved an NFL coach.

Ohhhhhh shit, Bobby, you done it now. From what I hear he was a total scumbag to players and personnel during his short stint in Atlanta, so a lot of people are laughing their asses off right now. I don't see how you don't fire this guy. He put the girl he was banging on the side in a position of power in the university football program--a position that no doubt pays well--and lied his ass off to school officials about the incident. There's a "good behavior" clause in his contract. The Razorbacks would be wise to exercise it and get this slimebucket out NOW. Oh, and fire the stupid broad he was nailing too...but I have a feeling she won't even show her face on campus ever again.

There's been a few of them recently, that way they preserve the brain for analysis of impact of concussion damage to the brain.

Yes, Dave Duerson shot himself in the chest with a request that his brain be studied for signs of damage. Sure enough, he was suffering from the same thing guys like Derek Boogaard were. I imagine we will see something similar in Junior Seau if they are authorized to study his mind.

The '94 Chargers are becoming an endangered species. Many from that team have died due to accidents and one was even struck by lightning.

I guess that makes sense

man, your brain must be making life a living hell to want to just check out, to further a cause

if he was having so many problems, why did he keep coming out of retirement?

Because the thrill of playing kept the demons at bay, I'm guessing.

It may not be a neurological thing in some cases, merely psychological. I imagine it can be tough to transition from a life when you have thousands of people cheering for you every week to a normal, humdrum existence. But imagine if there were neurological problems compounding something like that...
