A 5-4 SO win tonight against the Rangers. :viking:

Check out Burrows shoot-out goal in the highlights - sweet :D

Canucks Army game review

and the always well spoken Coach Willie:

The standings are very tight in the West and the Canucks are going to have to play consistently well in the final 25 to earn a spot in the post-season.

Next up Game #25 - Canucks @ Devils tomorrow night.

I wish it was in regulation, but a great comeback win anyway.

Cheers 'Nuckers!

Disappointing loss to the Devils - not a good start for the final 25. The Nucks have not done well on the 2nd half of back to backs this year. Still one bright spot: Kassian scored both of the Canucks goals and gave them a fighting chance to come back for a win.

Sweet Victory and a Shut-Out in game 24 against the Islanders. Miller hurt but Eddie finishes the game with confidence.

Nucks Misconduct game recap.

So we have 1-1-0 for the final 25 so far. Next up the Bruins. :clint:

Really, from what I read he was flying to Van this morning to then get and MRI. If that's correct it would seem premature, unless he has a break.

I feel bad for Miller but he'll get to spend time with his soon to give birth wife and we get the Lack/Markstrom combo I wanted be for the season started. I don't expect any drop off in goal.

And Tom Sesitito has been let go, should have happened two years ago, what a lousy contract Gillis.

Game 23 was a gritty victory vs the despised Bruins. The key to victory this night:

40 Saves from Eddie "The Wall" Lack.

4-6 weeks for Ryan Miller. At least Lack is playing well in the interim.

We need to take a look at Markstrom for 7-8 games down the stretch.

AT this point in their careers, Lack is probably at least Miller's equal if not superior.

Whole heartedly agree. Lack is marginally better than Miller and Miller will continue to decline over the next two years. And if Lack had been given the starters work load he might even be significantly better. With the kind of season Markstrom has had he is probably also better than Miller but we're locked into Miller for two more years.

Which will probably mean trading Markstrom or Lack for a 4th rounder..............hopefully they do give Markstrom a significant amount of games to improve his value.

Tonight's game vs the Blues is the last game before Trade Deadline.

nucksmisocnduct preview

Two days of rest and time to reflect on their last game - should be an entertaining game.

Yes I think I like this.

this is also interesting

Quote:
What's more surprising about this deal, perhaps, is that the Flames and the Canucks completed a deal with one another. It's the first time the two teams have consummated a trade since the Canucks traded for Dana Murzyn back in 1991, according to Ryan Pike of FlamesNation.ca.
