Nice fight by Sestito who wins by decision over Nolan, man that dude looks to have a heavy punch, hopefully he takes away some of the sting of the Volpatti loss

I always get Tim and Tom Sestito mixed up...obviously I wouldn't if they were standing next to one another. Baby brother Tom is a full six inches taller and 33 lbs. heavier!

Peculiar moves by Gillis. He waives Volpatti in order to send Pinizzotto down the Chicago on a conditioning stint, loses Volpatti, and immediately snags Sestito. I mean, it's just a bunch of 4th line guys, but still peculiar nonetheless.

Is May-Ray really playing in Kesler's place on the 2nd line?

Apparently they tried to send Volpatti through waivers just a couple of hours before they learned about Kesler's foot injury as they didn't have roster room. Gilles mentioned (Team 1040) how much they like Aaron and would like to get him back if possible.

That 4th line needs work though -- what they really need is a Prust type, someone who is nasty and can play and make some contribututions offensively.

Yes Mason was playing on that second line at Center last night. Got a goal as well which was good because he was starting to tail off.
