Happy St Patrick's Day!

Oh yeah. The game.

Nucks lose by 1. Local sports media goes apoplectic... :doom:

Personally I like the Nucks going into the post-season with something to prove rather than the Presidents Cup winning favourites.

Cheers and Drive Safely today!

I just try and keep in mind they lost back to back to Edmonton last year in the last week before playoffs. Good teams have bad spells.

But damn, end to end games with Montreal and Phoenix........these are the kind of games where Vancouver last year just ate their opponents alive, losing in this type of game to these two leaves me nervous.

Hoping for a big game from Schneider. Really want to see him and Lou play alternating games from here on out and whichever is performing better get the nod for the playoffs.

Down 1-0 already.

Knowing our luck Vancouver will have a sudden resurgence when they face off against the Avs.

Awesome play by Edler, but whaaaaaaaat in hell was Columbus doing on that play!? Nikitin (and seriously, Nikita Nikitin out on the penalty kill? Are you kidding me?) thought the best way to play that was to skate further to the right even though he was already leaving the middle wide open!?!?

And Dorsett's reaction there is hilarious.

Seriously, I have never seen an NHL team play defense as horribly as Columbus. I think even teams from the '80s would scoff at them.

BTW, John Moore should've gotten a major for the two handed chop he took at Edler after the goal there.

Edler made that look way too easy, hope it gives him more confidence to try that sort of thing though.

I've been scouring HF for any intel on that but came up with nothing... Apparently, it's some "personal" matter - I was a little worried that perhaps Manny was depressed about his performance of late and the grief he's been getting from the non-Vancouver media and needed some personal time to sort himself out. Now it seems it wasn't an issue with him personally but some "family-related" issue. Anybody follow Steve Nash's tweets? Perhaps there was something leaked there...
