They started that whole topic because of a comment I made in the previous post. 8-)

:golfclap: Gotta hand it to these guys, this site is now my favorite Canucks blog... CanuckinOZ, if you can't watch the games, bookmark this blog. The "I Watched This Game" post-game review is terrific, and always entertaining. They also link to CanucksHD on YouTube so if you can't watch the games, you can at least watch the game highlights in HD.

I was going to say that Tom Benjamin is still my favorite read, but I realized I hadn't gone to look at his blog in at least a month, whereas I visit PitB every day. Good balance of reasonably intelligent discourse and just plain goofy.

Yeah you sold me on it a long time ago, I don't go everyday but I go at least once a week and catch up, very entertaining.

This was a posting on PiTB too, but this is extremely cool:

http://www.fortnucks.com/post/24072595703/googled

How many identifiable individuals are on Google Maps Street View? Unless they always stand in the same outdoor place, not many (who are identifiable to anyone but themselves, anyhow).

By sheer coincidence, the Google mapping car drove by the Valencia Hotel in San Jose last spring, on the day of Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals. And a whole bunch of Canucks are captured out in the streets on Google Maps Street view there. You can see both Sedins, Malhotra, Tambellini, Rome, Hansen, Edler, Raymond, Higgins and then, standing away from the others, Ryan Kesler hanging out by Tommy Bahama. Plus, if you move the view across the street, you see Alain Vigneault under behind the bus. You can also see team photographers (or perhaps just the one in two different places, since these are composite images of course).

They took their own pictures around the same moment, funnily enough, so the above blog post shows you some of the same scenes from different angles (and without blurred faces).

Pretty awesome coincidence.
