I'm guessing that this all but guarantees that Ohlund is gone and that a complete makeover is in the offing for this team. It also explains why he signed Demitra but didn't bother to offer anything to Naslund, who signed for the same $ in NY.

Interesting that he would say that... So what was this cheesy 7th Man promotion? And what about that "We are All Canucks"? Is that looking forward, Mike? I'll grant you that the Linden jersey retirement and Bourdon tribute were necessary, but is that in keeping with these message points? Aren't a lot of holdovers from the previous regime still getting their paycheques from Team Canucklehead? Guys like Ron Delorme, Stan Smyl and so on?
Sounds like someone is doing some damage control...
