A pasting tonight of the Sens brings the Leafs that much closer to a return to the dance. This team has truculence! Carlyle is the perfect coach for this team. Lupul is amazing the gifts he delivered to Kadri tonight were a thing of beauty. Kadri is certainly a finisher and not a perimeter shooter like Kessel.

Even the Dion has been fairly solid this year. I still think they need a goalie to go deep in the dance though.

I'd be curious to see what Leafs Beefs videos have to say now. Its great to see this franchise making noise. Bravo to you long suffering Leafs fans!

Reimer has the personality that screams Playoff performer.

Okay I actually have no idea it that is true but he is our goalie and will remain so for the foreseeable future so I am going with that.

I'm sure he will let me down after I say this, but I think Joffrey's career resurgence might be more than just a fluke. Maybe getting humiliated on a reality show finally convinced him to get his shit together.

Also, that's awesome to hear that the Leafs employ a former figure skater as their skating coach. More teams should do that.

I did power skating with a figure skating coach one year. Worst fucking week of my life.

It's been a long while since these guys played a playoff game ....

May 4, 2004

Roberts - Sundin - Mogilny
Ponikarovsky - Nieuwendyk - Tucker
Antropov - Reichel - Fitzgerald
Belak - Kilger - Domi

Leetch - McCabe
Kaberle - Pilar
Bert - Marchment

Belfour

On a side note; think of what Mats Sundin would have accomplished if he ever had good wingers? :suprisedtoangry: .... Some asshole mentioned that just a few weeks ago on one of the hockey radio shows I listen to.

little confused. Making playoffs equals parade, riots, or driving around honking your horn?

All of the above.

I like how when you list Gary Roberts and Alex Mogilny as Sundin's wingers you complain he never got any good wingers. Uh.... those two guys might make the HHOF.

I know they tried Mogilny and Sundin together late in the game and it worked for a little bit but I don't remember Gary Roberts flanking Sundin at all. Mostly I remember a propeller-chopped Mikael Renberg, Jonas Hoglund, Robert Reichel (?), and Domi/Tucker playing the part of inferior Sundin winger. If only Quinn had traded for someone like, say, Alex Tanguay back in the day...

One year Mogilny put up good numbers for the Leafs, but seems other than that Sundin always seemed to be pretty far off on his own at the top of the Leafs stat totals.

What's this spam bullshit!?

President Obama has announced that he supports marriage equality for all Americans. Now we’re facing a critical moment. We must show that the American people stand behind the President and support extending the rights and responsibilities of marriage to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Americans. Read more

First of all; Obama WAS NOT for gay marriage in '07 / '08 during his campaign. Secondly, this is a State issue - it's not up to the Federal Government to say who & who not can be married.

Puppets.

Every day, millions of children in India wake up with nothing to look forward to except hours of back-breaking labour working everywhere from stone quarries to carpet factories to rice mills. These children - some as young as 5 years-old - are kept... Read more

Yes - this is up to North America! We have done such a phenomenal job country building; we might as well send even more people into India & show them how to run a country.
