Dude threw his WIFE'S jersey, not his own. He kept his own jersey.

People are underestimating this team right now.

They started the year in 11th over all and in just three weeks have got down to 22nd, top five pick is definitely with in reach.

Don't sell them short. I think they've got Eichel in their sights.

I read the line somewhere on Twitter, something like "The Leafs aren't Connor McDavid bad, but they're probably Lawson Crouse bad, and that's good enough." I could see a guy like him being a very good player, though not sure he could be a franchise cornerstone.

Incidentally how far back in time do we need to go to see a Leafs team that sported one of the league's top-five players? I just have to wonder if indeed they won the lottery and drafted McDavid, just how batshit crazy a situation that would be. For Connor's sake I hope it doesn't happen.

Dion out "week-to-week" with an upper body injury http://www.thestar.com/sports/leafs/201 ... njury.html

A shame it really is too late to tank.

Too late to get to the bottom two but any tank to the top four or five is cool.

Which top defender out will help the tank the most, Phaneuf or Erik Johnson?

Heck the second goal was pretty bad as well.

Between the amount of brain farts and lack of size I remain not a Bernier believer.

Welp Bernier has seen enough, just took himself out with a self inflicted injury.

The rebuild begins: Leafs trade Franson and Santorelli back to their Nashvillian stompin grounds for a late 1st, Brendan Leipsic and poor Olli Jokinen.

Winnik next?

I honestly didn't think Jokinnen was still in the league.

Over 1200 career regular season games, and only SIX playoff games. Welcome to Toronto, Olli.

Is there a more appropriate place for him to go? Maybe he ends up in Jersey with all of the other geriatric former 20-30 goal scorers.

It looks like they are really going to blow it up and start over this time.

Sounds like it, but will believe it when I see it.

Olli's initial impression is that there's a lot of negative energy around the Leafs. Thanks Olli. Oh, your Captain Obvious cape fell off.

There is a fruit farm out on the country roads of Milton that says "McDavid is coming".
