Tale of the Tape
Nhl.com preview

Toronto: Floundering, desperate, and without a Captain...

Vancouver: Just now getting its swagger back after a lackluster showing in Montreal...

I got a bad feeling about this... The Leafs will come out and try to get jump early; the Cannots need to push right back and not allow the Leafs to dictate the play. It was against the Leafs last January that the Sedins took over the game and brought the Cannots back from a 3-0 deficit with five goals to win 5-3.

Ballard is a healthy scratch for the third straight game; not sure yet what that means - can Aaron Rome and Andrew Alberts be outplaying him that badly? No surprise but Peter Schaefer is also a healthy scratch.

Daniel / Henrik / Bureaux
MayRay / Kesler / Samuelsson
Torres / Manimal / Hansen
Glass / Bliznak / Rypien

Ehrhoff / Hamhuis
BXA / Edler
AnAl / Rome

Luongo (Schneider)

Would love to see Samuelsson get untracked... Were it not for Ballard and Schaefer already crowding AV's doghouse, I'm sure Samuelsson would be right there...

Law of averages - Leafs cannot conceivably keep up this losing streak. However, hopefully they break the slump after a loss to the Canucks.

I expect a hard fought and close game. Canucks victory in OT. :viking:

I will settle for a Canucks blow-out victory though.

Nucks overcome a slow start and a 2-0 deficit to tie it up on goals by Kesler with his 8th and Danny with his 11th.

I don't know if I can take another period of these Tranna announcers,Every time the leafs get a penalty its a dive or a bad call and they must have called 20 penaltys themselves on the Nucks, awful shit to lisen to,C'mon Nuckers finish these fuckers off :argh:

C'mon, get a freaking shot already... How are they NOT putting these guys away? Where are the Sedins? They keep disappearing after getting their obligatory point per game each...

Great game Leafs. Very entertaining. I'm sure you'll bump your slump soon!

5-3 Nucks final.
