Surging? I'd hardly say we're "surging." 3-1-1 is a surge?

Well, Leafs, here's a grand opportunity for you to leave the Isles the only winless team in the league. I'm hoping Darcy Tucker exacts his revenge--I believe this'll be his first time back in the ACC since getting the golden handshake.

Wow...I'm just realizing this might be the first time in a long time that fans outside Toronto might actually find themselves ROOTING for Sideshow Bob! :haawaafap:

Anyway, let's see some truculence!!!!

Tonight will mark the first step in Joey MacDonald's triumphant march to the Vezina.

He's going to stop the puck AND bring the truculence.

Good luck Leafs. It galls me to say that, but not even TO deserves this horrid run of hockey.

Hagman and Stajan out, Stalberg and Bozak in. It'll be the esteemed DU alum's NHL debut. Sorry Boze, but I hope you stink just this one game.

I saw that photo...poor Vesa.

Man, Damien Cox's venom is practically seeping out of the Star website. That and a bunch of I-told-you-so's in the form of Schenn's apparent regression and Wilson's pugnacity with the press.

I believe this is last season's worst offensive team vs. last year's worst defensive team. Guess we'll see how each one has progressed addressing their respective weaknesses.

I have a feeling this will be a VERY scrappy game tonight. Leafs have gotta be furious at this point. Koci will have his work cut out for him, hopefully he can draw Komisarek into taking a couple stupid 5-minute majors. On the other side Tucker better damn well have it reined in. The Leafs are going to be gunning big-time for the rookie--McLeod will likely find his way back onto the 2nd line to knock back any would-be runners, who knows...

:golfclap:

Nice effort boys, didn't get to see the game but I heard it on my way to hockey...at least until I entered Boulder and the signal died (FUCK YOU AND YOUR DOUCHEBAG BUSINESS DEPARTMENT, KROENKE SPORTS). Sounds like the Avs took it to 'em pretty well. I heard from one of my teammates who watched it before heading to the rink that Komisarek got LEVELED by David Jones. Lovin' it.

A big note of concern though...just before my game I managed to hear through the static that Liles suffered a shoulder injury at the hands of Doucheamin. Fuckin' A...even with Quincey in the fold now we can't afford an serious injury to JML.

The truth about Komisarek: Markov was keeping Komi's fat carcass propped up. Lucic scored a knockout punch and basically took the one thing Komisarek had going for him. Now he's a clueless lump who takes bad penalties and gets routinely beaten one-on-one.
