The difference being the NHLPA exists to protect the economic interests of players and not much else. Beach was just some poor prospect while Kane has a 49M contract to save.

Gord Miller says Kane will have a new team in a week. Surprised anyone would want to rock the boat for him, but it could be a team with no playoff aspirations taking a shot.

Maybe he will. Stranger things have happened. Perhaps a non-playoff team will think they can sign him cheaply and then get something for him at the deadline. Maybe?

See we are all on the same sheet of music now! He is also a founding member of the HDA who has other sponsors and interests to consider.

I could see both the Flames and Bruins taking a run at him but I highly doubt he gets a long term contract out of anybody.

Yeah apparently he broke NHL and province-wide protocols by traveling to from Vegas to Vancouver shortly after testing positive for COVID. He could face more disciplinary action, so a deal in the short term is on hold as the league reviews the case.

What an absolute dumbass. :lol:
