Uuh...27 goals so far this season. He's 5 goals behind Sid leading the league with 32.

I wonder what the closest differential has been between the goal leader and the defenseman goal leader(other than lockout seasons I guess)?

15 between Orr's 46 and Espo's 61 in 74-75? That's closer than either of Coffey's 40+ goal seasons.

One of the most recognizable faces and characters in a league full of dull automatons.

Friend of mine worked for the Battalion while he was there. Said he was just a big, goofy kid back then too. Only player he remembers requesting the Sarge mascot costume.

Holy shit did that trade end up being highway robbery. I certainly didn't think it was at the time.

Sharks are taking the West playoffs this year and will face the either the 'Guins or the Caps in the Finale. It's toss up after that.

Burns went from solid to monster after spending that year or 2 at forward. Makes me wonder if that had never happened would Burns still be a 40-50 pt defenseman? Are there are other defensemen in the league who would benefit from playing forward for a year?
