Well. Since no one else has yet to pump out a GDT -- and seeing as it is 1-0 for the 'Nots after 1 period play, it seems the perfect time to fire this thing up.

The Sharks are the far superior team and should win. Shots 16-7 in favour of Sharts. Lou the difference maker thus far.

Go figure.

8 games on tap tonight. Welcome back hockey! :toot:

I don't have a problem with the hybrid icing at all. It's safer and speeds up the game.

Great shot on the short side by Burns to make it 1-1 after 17 shots on Lou.

Burrows hits the post shortly after !

Huge full 2 minute, 2 man advantage kill for 'Nots.

Blocked shots 16-8 in favour of 'Nots at midday mark of the game.

Tanev with 5 blocked shots of his own!

So who's playing with the twins? best I can do for this game is watching the scoreboard update.

Booth gets some time with Sedins as well in third period. Oh now it's 4-1 Sharts.

Now that's five straight season opening losses in a row for 'Nots.

Whoop! Bring it :viking:

I didn't see the whole game but looked to me like the JT-BB-Hertl line was wreaking some havoc out there.

Didn't see a whole lot of the game, but from what I saw the Canucks were getting pushed around quite a bit, which is surprising.

It's only one game of course. The only definitive determination I made from it is that the current Sharks uniforms suck balls.

I thought the canucks looked good in the 1st, then ran into penalty trouble. G scoring chances both ways, but the sharks managed to bury theirs.

The Sharks are a better team on the whole and were last night through 60 minutes.

The 'Nots made a lot of mistakes and got into penalty trouble after killing their own momentum. Henrik Sedin took a dumb penatly directly after that full 2 minute - 2 man kill and then the penalties kept coming. Not unexpected given the new system and Torts agressive expectations.

This team might make the playoffs but it sure ain't a given....

Recycled because it's good for the environment. 11/6/14.

Nucks and Miller in particular weather the Sharts' storm and come back after being down 1-0 and 2-1 to get some timely (secondary) scoring from Snipey McSniperson Bonino to take a 3-2 lead into the final frame... In their barn, no less. Vrbata and Edler (PP) with the other two goals.

Still waiting for the other shoe to drop... 1:34 left in the 3rd... Shots are 35-19 for the home team.

Did not know until tonight that Nick Bonino was a Sharks draft pick.

Typical Joe Thornton unclutch goal there.
