F'N BULLSHIT! :steamingpileofcrap:

Sharks got screwed out of a win last night, overtime winner missed by refs and video review. Wingels knocks it in the net and Myers kicked it out. Ref's view was blocked by Myers, Wingels view was blocked by Miller.

Sharks should get another point, this is bullshit.

Interesting I was watching the Sabre broadcast and they made no hint to that being close let alone in. Said the puck was under Miller's blocker if I remember correct. Maybe the guys in T.O. where watching that broadcast and never looked closely?

I am convinced the "Toronto War Room" doesn't actually exist. It doesn't make sense that they are so frequently unable to make the correct calls after 10 minutes of review while random dudes on the Internet have all the angles necessary.

This has been making the rounds, but it looks photoshopped to me. Did this really happen during the game!?

It's Buffalo, your team gets a gimme point for just showing up. If it's close enough game that a refs indecision costs your team a point then your team was probably playing like shite to begin with. Hopefully they'll play like that tomorrow night as well.

The TO War Room sounds like a couple of dudes sitting there getting upset when someone asks them to stop watching porn & watch a few angles of a hockey play.

Aren't they supposed to watch "every shot on goal closely, to make good & sure it wasn't actually a goal"??? Oh NHL, you're so silly with your bold public statements, and same old bullshit behind the scenes.

That said Hammer, nobody should lose to the Sabres this year, whether screwed out of the win or not. And I say this after my team lost to them. In regulation.

Sharks were terrible for 2 - 2.5 periods, I went to bed and missed the comeback.

Also I guess Buffalo deserves lots of payback for the brett hull foot in the crease incident that may have cost them a Cup!

If this is considered their payback for the Toe Goal, they should ask the league to give the 2 points to the Sharks.

Brent Burns has been out for ~3 weeks now with what was supposed to be a minor injury. He got hit by a puck and high sticked in the same spot of his mouth in consecutive games and has been gone since. The Sharks have been very tight lipped about what is wrong. He's skating with the team, took the no-contact jersey off but then put it back on. Possible explanations:

concussion
bad mouth injury that is messing up his sinuses
cracked jaw that could get severely injured if not allowed to heal properly
??????
concussion

This really sucks, love watching Burns play and the Sharks have not been the same without him.

Nice. Would be interesting to see what these guys would get as UFAs. Joe is having his best season in 5 years and taking a hometown discount. Marleau having a solid season and probably also taking a discount but less so.

There might be a slight discount there, pretty sure at there age they would not get $8 mil perhaps in the $7 to $7.5 range. However its good that both are going to finish their careers there. Will they be the first retired numbers for the organization?

1st game vs. LA since Hertl got taken out by gutless puke Dustin Brown. It would be nice to see Big Joe himself lay a beating on Brown. Joe can throw and seems to enjoy beating up the other team's captain at times having pummeled Getzlaf and Toews in the past. It would be nice to see him stick up for his injured rookie sidekick!

ah yes, Sharks and Nucks fans, bonding together over our complete disdain of Dustin Brown ;)

Joe? Joe pummeled Getzlaf? Getzlaf was talking shit to Joe one playoff series I watched when Getzlaf was pretty young and the Ducks owned that series completely. Joe responded with a good game the next game but was very quiet for almost the whole series. I didn't see him go up against Toews. He went after Lidstrom(and sometimes Zetterberg) constantly in a couple of playoffs and it was ALWAYS after the whistle, total chicken shit moves. Maybe I haven't watched enough the past couple of seasons but Joe was not a guy I expected to go and deliver a beatdown to stick up for a teammate. During his Boston days he could lose it and dish it out and get the odd suspension here and there, but ever since the Lindros fight that hasn't been the case from what I've seen.

Getzlaf was a while ago, pummeled may be an exaggeration but I remember Joe starting and clearly winning the fight in a failed attempt to get the Sharks going in that series. Joe ragdolled Toews last year, and within the past couple years laid a solid beating on Doughty. He rarely fights and picks his spots when he does, but this situation would fit his pattern - a prominent player on the other team, a grudge exists, and it would probably be a lopsided fight even if Brown didn't turtle. So ya it is certainly not likely, but not out of the realm of possibility and like I said it would be nice to see!

Yeah that was probably the same series, I don't remember the fight but I remember Getzlaf trash talking Joe, Joe coming back with a strong game but not series. I'm sure most, if not all Sharks fans would love to see that from him.
