Mario ended up with his ownership stake because the previous owners owed him money. Now he's gonna cash in and then some right at the cusp of the Pens blowing it up and starting over. This is the epitome of buy low, sell high.

I can't help but think the lawsuit they just settled may have hastened things a bit, but whatever.
